integrados no mercado.
With the ever growing threat to natural resources and the negative impact that mankind has on nature, the theme of sustainability has gained more and more prominence and importance over the years, becoming a worldwide concern, both personal and in the organizational level. Alongside this growth, several brands with different environmentally friendly products and services have also emerged contributing to a more sustainable life and world. The increase in competition and the need to differentiate brands in such a vast market and also with an audience that is increasingly interested and exposed to information, makes brand communication essential for their growth and success. Communication agencies and Public Relations play a very important role in the communication of these brands by defining the best strategies in order to reinforce their positioning and build a good relationship between the brand and its audience. This report is the result of a five-month curricular internship at Companhia das Soluções (agency associated with APECOM), in the Sustainability department and, in addition to reporting this experience, it aims to analyze the extent to which public relations can contribute to the communication of sustainable brands, based on the tasks developed in this agency for the brand “Clementine”. Furthermore we used the preparation and analysis of interviews performed with the communication director of Companhia das Soluções and the CEO and founder of Clementine. With this work it was possible to conclude that sustainable brands face several challenges, from the difficulty of integrating in large commercial surfaces to the problem of not being able to compete with the prices of other products that, although less sustainable, are already integrated in the market. However, we can also see that Public Relations have become an asset for these brands, allowing them to reach more people and their target audience in an effective way and to gain a voice in today's market. |
