cirúrgica (orto-k) no olho avaliado.
acomodativos e gerar sintomatologia. In today's contemporary world, we are increasingly dependent on artificial lighting to carry out all kinds of daily tasks. This study aimed to analyze the variation of accommodative parameters with thevariation of lighting color. The objective was to estimate the accommodative response for lighting set to different wavelengths. Forty-five subjects with ages ranging from 18 to 35 years old were subjected to the study, of which 17 were emmetropes, 14 hypermetropes and 14 myopes. Individuals who currently suffered from some systemic or ocular pathology, susceptible to changes to the normal refractive value, or whohad been subjected to any surgical or non-surgical intervention (ortho-k) in the evaluated eye, were excluded. Data collection was carried out in two stages. The first stage consisted of a preliminary exams, refractive exams, binocular vision and accommodation exams. In the second stage AM and FAwere determined under 115 lux illuminance with 3 different wavelengths with peaks at 455 nm for blue full width at half maximum at 26nm 510nm for green, full width at half maximum at 34nm and 625nm for red, full width at half maximum at 21nm. The results indicate that the lighting color influences the AM results, which is higher with blue light, then with green and finally lower with red. We also know that there are statistically significant differences in AM through the blue and green lighting between the hypermetropia and myopia groups. In relation to AM, there are differences between the three ametropias between all wavelengths. Regarding AF, no influence of the light color was detected. For the three colors there were statistically significant differences between the emmetropia and myopia groups and the hypermetropia and myopia groups. However, in hypermetropes there were differences observed between green andblue lighting. The results found suggest a relation between some accommodative parameters and specific lighting conditions. improper lighting or inadequate parameters can cause a variation in the accommodative parameters and generate symptoms. |
