O ensino do português como língua estrangeira em Roma

Abstract

O presente relatório de foi escrito no âmbito do Mestrado em Tradução e Comunicação Multilingue a partir de um estágio realizado no Centro Linguístico di Ateneo da Università degli Studi di Roma Tre e no Dipartimento di Lingue, Letterature e Culture Straniere da mesma universidade, localizada em Roma, Itália, entre os dias 02/03/2020 e 29/05/2020. O meu trabalho consistia no ensino de língua portuguesa a estudantes italiano principiantes (nível A1) no centro linguístico e no acompanhamento do Professor Doutor Gian Luigi De Rosa às suas aulas no departamento de línguas da universidade. O estágio coincidiu quase totalmente com o período de quarentena devido à emergência do COVID-19, durante o qual as aulas tiveram de realizar-se à distância. O presente tratará, pois, não somente dos desafios do ensino da língua portuguesa, como também das soluções para fazê-lo de forma telemática. Além de ensinar e assistir às aulas, tive também a oportunidade de realizar um grupo de conversação online e fiz a transcrição de vídeo-verbetes para o professor De Rosa sobre análise do discurso. Tive também aulas de italiano, que usaram outra modalidade de ensino à distância.

This report was written as a part of a Master’s degree in Translation and Multilingual Communication, after an internship at Centro Linguistico di Ateneo of the Università degli Studi di Roma Tre and at Dipartimento di Lingue, Letterature e Culture Straniere of this university, situated in Rome, Italy, between 02/03/2020 e 29/05/2020. My work consisted in teaching Portuguese language to Italian students at beginner level (A1) at the languages centre, and in accompanying Professor Gian Luigi De Rosa in his lessons at the department of languages of the university; The internship was almost entirely coincident with the lockdown following the COVID-19 outbreak in Italy, during which all courses had to be held through distance teaching. This report will thus address not only our challenges on language teaching, but also on adapting to do it through computer tools. Besides teaching and watching classes, we also had the opportunity to host a conversation group in Portuguese for university students, and to transcribe some videos for Professor Gian Luigi De Rosa about discourse analysis. I also attended Italian classes, which had another take on computer-assisted teaching.
