criminosa.
Prevenção e o Combate à Violência Contra as Mulheres e a Violência Doméstica, conhecida
In the era of information’s society, an average crime, physical and immediate, provides a place for subterfuge implemented by the computer mechanisms, Men’s assistants as a criminal figure. The crime of stalking, recently embodied in the Portuguese Penal Code in Article 154.º-A, follows from the requirements of the Council of Europe Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence, known as the Istanbul Convention. There will be many social and legal challenges in hosting this legal type of crime, which, although recent, is tied to the universal culture and is intrinsically recognizable. In "one-click" distance, the persecutor may subject the victim to repeated attacks aimed at suppressing her self-determination and independence through intimidation, harassment, unwanted contact and defamation, as delinquent behavior has become more accessible and multifaceted for those who can, in addition to typical physical persecution, to hide behind an electronic device and cause serious psychological damage to another human being. |
