Aplicações informáticas B : como cumprir o mesmo programa em menos tempo?

Abstract

O presente relatório de estágio centra-se na intervenção realizada na Escola Secundária de Avelar Brotero, no âmbito do estágio profissional do Mestrado em Ensino de Informática promovido pela Universidade do Minho. A intervenção incidiu na disciplina de Aplicações Informáticas B, disciplina opcional do 12º ano, de uma turma do curso cientifico-humanístico. O desafio de cumprir o mesmo programa com menos tempo, de forma a proporcionar aprendizagens ajustadas aos interesses dos alunos mas não restringindo as outras áreas do saber contempladas no programa da disciplina, deu origem ao tema: Aplicações Informáticas B: como cumprir o mesmo programa em menos tempo. A problemática foi originada pela revisão curricular que entrou em vigor no presente ano letivo, afetando a disciplina no que diz respeito à diminuição dos tempos letivos semanais mantendo o mesmo programa. Neste contexto, a intervenção descrita no presente relatório assentou nos seguintes objetivos gerais: Promover a autonomia e responsabilidade dos alunos; Estimular a pesquisa autónoma; Estimular o pensamento crítico e a criatividade tanto presencialmente como online; Envolver os alunos e incentivar a aprendizagem para lá da sala de aula; Desenvolver estratégias motivadoras da aprendizagem; Promover o desenvolvimento de aprendizagens e competências, para além das T.I.C., que permitam uma crescente literacia digital. Paralelamente, ao longo da implementação do plano de intervenção propusemo-nos investigar os seguintes pontos: Analisar a eficácia das estratégias implementadas nas aulas quanto às aprendizagens realizadas pelos alunos e aos conhecimentos adquiridos num contexto de cumprimento do programa com menos tempo letivo; Compreender o contributo da comunicação online para a autonomia e para o espírito crítico dos alunos. Os resultados da implementação das estratégias utilizadas no âmbito do plano de intervenção demonstraram ter sido eficazes apesar de não ter sido possível aprofundar como desejado alguns conteúdos programáticos. Teria sido uma mais-valia para a implementação do projeto se o formato definido para a realização do estágio profissional contemplasse a intervenção numa turma ao longo de todo o ano letivo. Porém, a nível pessoal e profissional, a realização deste estágio profissional foi uma experiência desafiante e enriquecedora.

This internship report focuses on the intervention performed on Avelar Brotero Secondary School under the professional training for the Master on Computer teaching promoted by Minho University. This intervention focused on the subject: Computer Applications B, an optional subject for the scientific-humanistic group from the 12th grade. The challenge of teaching the same program in less time providing adjustments according to the students’ interests without restricting the other areas of knowledge which are covered on the syllabus originated the theme: Computer Applications B: How to fulfill the same program in less time. The main problem was the curriculum revision which took place during this school year which affected the subject by having a time reduction on the weekly timetable and maintaining the same syllabus. In this context, the intervention described in this report was based on the following general objectives: to promote the autonomy and responsibility of students; to encourage independent research; to stimulate critical thinking and creativity both in class and online; to engage students and encourage learning beyond the classroom; to develop motivational strategies of learning; to promote the development of learning skills, in addition to ICT, enabling the growth of digital literacy. Meanwhile, throughout the implementation of the intervention plan we proposed to investigate the following points: To analyze the effectiveness of the strategies implemented in the classroom according to the learning achieved by students and the knowledge acquired in the context of fulfilling the program with less time; Understanding the contribution of online communication for students autonomy and critical thinking. The results of the strategies implementation used in the intervention plan proved to be effective although it was not possible to go deeper on some contents of the syllabus. It would have been an asset for the implementation of the project if the format set for the completion of the professional training contemplated the intervention in class throughout the school year. However, for me personally and professionally, the realization of this internship was a challenging and enriching experience.
