No capítulo I, é efectuada a caracterização do contexto de intervenção e apresentação do
In the attempt to reduce school failure in a class of 11th grade in the School “Sá de Miranda” in Braga, in which I had the opportunity to do my internship and teach the "Metamorphic Rocks" subject of the discipline of Biology and Geology II, I decided to look on this issue. The primary objective of Supervised Pedagogical Intervention Plan idealized by me, was the detection of previous and alternative knowledge of students of that class through the application of a diagnostic evaluation form. After the application of this evaluation instrument, the priority is to adapt the teaching-learning strategies idealized by me, whose main purpose is to awaken and motivate students for learning content that will be taught. The theme has been slightly addressed in the previous year (10th year) and in this way we’ve to determine on time if the students had acquired this knowledge. Timely detection of the previous and alternative knowledge as well as the main difficulties in order to organize my first intervention, guiding it to help my students succeed in the subject taught by me. This discovery allowed me to organize plans and materials that supported me in the teaching of content, adapting teaching strategies so that everyone was guaranteed to achieve success. In Chapter I, is made the characterization of the intervention context and presentation of the Intervention Project. The General Plan of Intervention is justified in light of the context and literature. In Chapter II, a summary is given detailing the main activities under the project and will be documented through materials that I prepared and that supported me in the contents teaching. In general and according to the results, they are revealing elements of the success achieved by most students. While considering the short time available for educational intervention, the results could not be better. To be able to support our students, we always need more time. It is important to show our students that they are the focus of our attention. The attention to the student that we provide them act as extra motivation and the interest in the subject can be awakened or sustained. |
