Abstract

Este relatório consiste na descrição do processo de avaliação que foi realizado com o objetivo de estimar o preço por ação do Grupo Inditex no final do ano de 2024, com o resultado de 45,15€. A escolha desta empresa deve-se ao facto de ter registado um crescimento significativo ao longo dos anos e principalmente ao interesse que proporciona relativamente à sua adaptação à sociedade atual e às crescentes preocupações ambientais e sociais que têm vindo a surgir. O relatório inicia-se com uma breve introdução à empresa e com o sumário do projeto de investimento, onde será apresentado a proposta de investimento e os fundamentos que a sustentam, através do fornecimento de algumas informações básicas de forma a ter uma visão geral da mesma. Segue-se a descrição da empresa e do seu negócio, referindo os principais segmentos em que a empresa atua e os principais condutores de receitas e custos. Após ter uma ampla perspetiva sobre a empresa, é feita uma descrição da indústria onde esta opera, assim como uma breve referência aos fatores económicos que a afetam. Além disso, é apresentado o posicionamento da Inditex no mercado e a sua posição competitiva face aos seus inúmeros concorrentes, através de uma análise SWOT e das 5 Forças de Porter. Para finalizar esta parte, são mencionadas as políticas ESG que o Grupo Inditex apresenta e tenciona expandir no seu futuro. Numa segunda parte do relatório, é feita a apresentação dos métodos e modelos de avaliação que foram utilizados, assim como uma análise financeira da empresa, apresentando métricas, rácios e valores financeiros que justificarão a avaliação. O relatório termina com menção aos riscos de investimento, onde são revelados os principais riscos associados à empresa, e com uma análise de sensibilidade do preço das ações a algumas variáveis dependentes desses riscos.

This report consists of the description of the evaluation process conducted to estimate the per-share price of the Inditex Group at the end of the year 2024, resulting in €45.15. The choice of this company is due to its significant growth over the years and especially the interest it generates regarding its adaptation to current societal concerns and the increasing environmental and social issues that have arisen. The report begins with a brief introduction to the company and with a summary of the investment project, presenting the investment proposal and the underlying fundamentals and providing some basic information to give an overall view. This is followed by a description of the company and its business, highlighting the main segments in which the company operates and the primary drivers of revenues and costs. After a broad overview of the company, a description of the industry in which it operates is provided, along with a brief reference to the economic factors affecting it. Additionally, the report presents the positioning of Inditex in the market and its competitive position compared to numerous competitors, using a SWOT and Porter's 5 Forces analysis. To conclude this part, the ESG policies that Inditex Group has introduced and intends to expand in the future will be mentioned.
