A inserção da prática do canto no processo de ensino e aprendizagem do violino

Abstract

O presente projeto de intervenção teve como objeto de estudo a inserção da prática do canto no processo de ensino e aprendizagem do instrumento, aferindo os resultados da aplicação desta estratégia com vista a estimular e potenciar uma performance de qualidade. A aprendizagem de um instrumento, neste caso o violino, é um processo demorado e complexo. O foco deste Relatório de Estágio incide na prática do canto na aprendizagem do instrumento e o seu papel no desenvolvimento de destrezas no campo da memória auditiva, da afinação, musicalidade, audição interior e audiação. Os propósitos da investigação passaram por perceber qual é a perceção e visão que os alunos têm relativamente à importância do canto na aprendizagem do instrumento, se, de facto, a prática do canto previne e/ou contribui para a resolução de questões problemáticas na aprendizagem do violino, como melhorar a afinação, a memorização e a musicalidade através do canto e qual a visão dos professores sobre a inserção desta estratégia nas aulas e no estudo individual dos alunos. A intervenção incidiu na melhoria de algumas dificuldades demonstradas pelos alunos nas aulas do Estágio Profissional e no desenvolvimento de outras capacidades devidamente exploradas em cada ciclo. Para analisar melhor o tema do meu projeto e a minha intervenção nos alunos, procedi à realização de três questionários. Um a professores de violino dos vários Conservatórios e Escolas Profissionais do país sobre a forma como trabalham todas as competências estudadas nesta pesquisa e a inserção da prática do canto nas aulas. Outro questionário foi entregue aos alunos do 1º ciclo em quem apliquei o meu projeto. Por fim, o terceiro questionário foi destinado aos alunos com quem também tive oportunidade de aplicar o tema do meu projeto, 2,3º ciclos e secundário. Os resultados mostraram alguma falta de conhecimento para com o tema em questão e também alguma incoerência nas respostas aos questionários. De acordo com a minha pesquisa, acredito que sem a inserção da prática do canto no estudo individual e nas aulas de instrumento, a evolução do aluno será condicionada de alguma forma em algum parâmetro.

The purpose of this intervention project was to study the inclusion of singing practice in the process of teaching and learning the instrument, assessing the results of applying this strategy in order to stimulate and enhance a quality performance. Learning an instrument, in this case the violin, is a long and complex process. The focus of this Internship Report is on the practice of singing in learning the instrument and its role in the development of listening skills, tuning, musicality, inner hearing, and audiation. The purposes of the research were to understand what is the perception and vision that students have regarding the importance of singing in learning the instrument, if, in fact, the practice of singing prevents and/or contributes to the resolution of problematic issues in learning the violin, how to improve tuning, memorization and musicality through singing, and what is the view of teachers on the insertion of this strategy in classes and in the individual study of students. The intervention focused on the improvement of some difficulties demonstrated by the students in the Professional Internship classes and the development of other skills properly explored in each cycle. To better analyze the theme of my project and my intervention in the students, I carried out three questionnaires. One to violin teachers from the various Conservatories and Professional Schools in the country about the way they work all the competences studied in this research and the insertion of the practice of singing in the lessons. Another questionnaire was given to the 1st cycle students to whom I applied my project. Finally, the third questionnaire was addressed to the students with whom I also had the opportunity to apply the theme of my project, 2nd, 3rd cycle and high school. The results showed some lack of knowledge towards the subject in question and also some inconsistency in the answers to the questionnaires. According to my research, I believe that without the insertion of the practice of singing in individual study and instrument classes, the evolution of the student will be conditioned in some way in some parameter.
