| Resumo(s): | In this invited lecture, Synthetic Biology was introduced to the Master's students in Biotechnology and Chemical and Biological Engineering, within the curricular unit Advanced Molecular Biotechnology. After discussing synthetic biology definition and main tools, the ongoing synthetic biology research conducted at Sustainable Bioprocesses and Bioproducts Laboratory was presented, with a particular emphasis on the engineering of new pathways, functions and organisms. |
