requisitos específicos do ambiente educacional.
Space shapes us, but we are also affected by the way we interact and act within the space. In the context of the learning environment, the interdependence between physical space, innovative teaching and the organization of a school is often exaggerated when designing learning spaces. This may be because there are often expectations that a new spatial design will automatically change the way we teach and learn. This master's thesis addresses the alignment between teaching, space and organization in the design of the André Cruz de Carvalho active learning room at the University of Minho. The aim is to analyse how much the incorporation of these principles can align towards the appointment of a more effective and satisfactory educational environment for students, teachers and the organization. The research begins with a review of the literature on the relationship between teaching, space and academic management, highlighting the value of an integrated approach to these factors in building a more effective educational environment. This is followed by an analysis of studies involving schools that have excelled in incorporating these principles into their educational practices. Given the nature of the objectives, a qualitative and interpretative methodology was adopted. Data was collected through focus group and individual interviews. The results of the research indicate that the invention of the André Cruz de Carvalho active learningroom involved cooperation between teachers, the architect, technology-based specialists and the university management. The educators contributed their knowledge and educational goals to the room, while the architect provided guidance in terms of space design and furniture selection. This collaborative approach ensured that the room met the specific needs and requirements of the educational environment. The alignment of these principles can be divided into the expansion of more innovative, stimulating and relevant pedagogical practices for students, as well as promoting the training of more qualified and committed teachers. The study concludes that the direction of speech should elevate teaching, space and educational organization as essential to building one of the most effective and satisfying modes for all stakeholders. |
