interesses e necessidades do grupo.
A observação
direta e indireta, levou--me a refletir, desenvolvendo reflexões semanais, procurando assim a resolução de
significativas no decorrer do projeto. This report was carried out within the framework of the Supervised Teaching Practice and presents a Pedagogic Intervention Project developed in the valences of Pre-School Education and Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education of the University of Minho. The project was developed in the Pre-School, with 19 children aged five years, 8 males and 11 females, and continued in a 1st grade room in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education, with 24 children, 8 males and 16 females. The theme of Project of Pedagogic Intervention, arose from the question: "What are mammalian animals?" , one question that occurred during an activity. From there, a project was conceived according to the interests and needs of the group. One of the main objectives was to understand if the children were sensitized to the theme of the project; and whether each child/student was able to distinguish the characteristics of the different mammals. These were part of a set of pedagogical intervention strategies focused on the area of sciences, but not only on the realization of explorations and experiments. The methodology is close to an action investigation, being essentially qualitative. With a direct and an indirect observation, I was able to reflect, developing weekly reflections, thus seeking the resolution of controversial situations, with the aim of improving practices. Neverthemore, field notes were taken regularly and incident records were made, and subsequently analyzed. By conducting questionnaires, I concluded that children adhered to the practices this enhancing their essential skills and learning. All activities were thought in an integrative and interdisciplinary way, enhancing the project as one. The attentive admiration of each group was visible daily as they developed the activities. The children began to value something in a unique way. The creation of a terrestrial globe was fascinating, as well as the placement of animals in their respective classes, the organization of the set of species and the learning and board games were an asset for meaningful learning. At the end of the project, it was possible to verify that the children were able to distinguish the characteristics of the different mammals, were sensitive to the subject and were able to assess significant learning during the project. |
