Espaço, materiais e oportunidades de aprendizagem em contexto de creche e de jardim de infância

Abstract

O presente relatório apresenta os Projetos de Intervenção Pedagógica realizados no âmbito do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar. Para este trabalho, o foco do projeto em creche foi a reorganização do espaço e o enriquecimento com materiais naturais e o enriquecimento da área das ciências, no contexto de jardim de infância de modo a favorecer as aprendizagens das crianças. Para esta finalidade foi implementada uma abordagem de investigação-ação. Os projetos foram desenvolvidos a partir da observação direta das crianças em contexto de sala, da interação do grupo e das reflexões realizadas sobre o que fui observando. O desenvolvimento do projeto permitiu compreender que num espaço devidamente organizado e com recurso a novos materiais a atenção e curiosidade das crianças é maior, potenciando novas aprendizagens e possibilitando que elas criem novas competências sociais e pessoais. Relativamente ao contexto de creche, as intervenções propostas centraram-se em melhorar a organização do espaço e os materiais disponíveis. O desenvolvimento do projeto permitiu compreender que num espaço devidamente organizado e com recurso a novos materiais a atenção e curiosidade das crianças é maior, potenciando a criatividade e a construção de novas aprendizagens. No contexto de jardim de infância, o projeto centrou-se na reorganização e no enriquecimento da área das ciências com materiais diversificados e na exploração dos mesmos com as crianças. A implementação do projeto permitiu desafiar as crianças a partilhar as suas ideias e conhecimentos e a procurar respostas para as suas curiosidades.

This report pertains to Pedagogical Intervention Projects carried out within the scope of the Masters in Pre-School Education. The focus of the daycare project was the reorganization of the space and its enrichment with natural materials and, in the context of kindergarten, the enrichment of the science area, in order to favor the children's learning. For this purpose, an action-research approach was implemented. The projects were developed from the direct observation of children in the room context, group interaction and reflections on what was observed. The development of the project allowed us to understand that in a properly organized space and using new materials, children's attention and curiosity is greater, promoting new learning and enabling them to create new social and personal skills. Regarding the daycare, the proposed interventions focused on improving the organization of space and the materials available. The development of the project made it possible to understand that in a properly organized space and using new materials, children's attention and curiosity is greater, enhancing creativity and the construction of new learning. In the context of kindergarten, the project focused on the reorganization and enrichment of the area of the Sciences with diversified materials and on their exploration by the children. The implementation of the project allowed the children to be challenged to share their ideas and knowledge and to look for answers to their curiosities.
