dc.description.abstract | The definition of a logic can be obtained in two distinct ways: semantically or deductively. In the first case, it will be sufficient to determine the algebraic structure associated with this logic for it to be univocally defined. In the second case, the approach is not that simple, as we can define more than one deductive system for the same logic. The equivalence between these two approaches is guaranteed by the Soundness and Completeness Theorems. The equivalence between the different deductive systems can be obtained by the translation between their sets of derivations or by demonstrating that each one of them is correct and complete. Thus, regardless of whether one chooses a semantic or deductive definition, it is guaranteed that is defining the same logic. In this dissertation, we characterize Minimal Quantum Logic through the algebraic semantics of ortholattices and its deductive systems (Quantum) Natural Deduction and (Quantum) Sequent Calculus. We prove the Soundness and Completeness of (Quantum) Natural Deduction and determine the equivalence of demonstrability between the two deductive systems, through the translations between their derivations. To make it clearer, we start from a more familiar context, the Classical Logic, for which we determined the equivalence of demonstrability between two of its deductive systems: (Classic) Natural Deduction and (Classic) Sequent Calculus. We also make a brief comparison between both logics, highlighting their differences through examples. | por |
