Definimos as revistas acadêmicas
No
The present investigation seeks to understand which epistemologies academic feminists from Brazil, Mozambique and Portugal have used in online periodicals and how it outspreads in terms of political actions in their specific realities. We understand feminist periodic academic journals as an important space for expression, discussion, dissemination, formation of organisms and/or people, as well as promotion and consolidation of thematic areas. The 1990s represent an important time frame for analysis of the Lusophone feminism, given that during this period the first feminist academic publications appeared in a periodical format in portuguese language. In Brazil, the Revista Estudos Feminsitas (1992) and Caderno Pagu (1993); in Mozambique, in 1991, the journal Estudos Moçambicanos, presents a work related to the theme; and, in Portugal, Faces de Eva and ex æquo (1999). These publications are focused on discussions about the theme of Studies on Woman/Women, Gender and Feminism (EMGF) and are, since the beginning of their work, committed to the quality of the discussions. They not only started to represent a meeting space for researchers on the subject, expanding it, but also, through activism, helped in the understanding of local issues - anchored in theories already consolidated in other spaces - and in the creation of political projects that helped in the consolidation of laws that aimed the eradication of discrimination and guarantee of rights. This work is based on a quantitative methodology, with the case study method and uses categorical content analysis and semi-directive interviews as techniques. It gathered articles arranged between 1991 and 2019 (2334 in total), which had their abstracts and keywords observed and systemized into 16 thematic categories that, along with the interviews carried out, helped us to understand the processes of transformation and changes that occurred over time. In the same way, they allowed us to understand the editorial policies of each journal. Therefore, we conclude that there was not only an epistemological change in the articles published over that time, as well as a change in the themes worked. In addition, we grasp the importance of these publications in providing tools to people who are interested in the theme and in the premise of a more equitable society, with a policy to eradicate gender inequalities. |
