A importância do Instituto Confúcio da Universidade do Minho no ensino da língua chinesa

Abstract

A Língua Chinesa está a ganhar cada vez mais relevância no contexto internacional, levando a um aumento notório do interesse na aprendizagem desta língua por parte de um público que abrange todas as faixas etárias. Em Portugal, assim como noutros países, a importância da Língua Chinesa aumenta de dia para dia, e consequentemente aumenta também a importância da principal instituição internacional responsável pelo ensino e divulgação da mesma, o Instituto Confúcio. O Instituto Confúcio está encarregue das mais variadas funções ligadas ao ensino da Língua Chinesa, como os cursos livres, os diversos projetos com as várias escolas, a realização de exames de proficiência de língua, o ensino e divulgação da cultura chinesa, a criação de oportunidades únicas com a oferta de bolsas de estudo na china, entre outras. Atualmente em Portugal há Institutos Confúcio instalados em oito instituições de ensino superior, sendo que este trabalho recair sobre o Instituto Confúcio da Universidade do Minho. O principal objetivo deste relatório é dar a conhecer o Instituto Confúcio da Universidade do Minho, os seus projetos e atividades culturais, os seus profissionais, os métodos de ensino e materiais escolhidos para a lecionação da Língua Chinesa e qual a razão destas escolhas, demonstrando em simultâneo a importância que o mesmo assume no ensino da Língua.

The Chinese language is gaining more and more relevance in the international context, leading to a noticeable increase of the interest in learning this language by a public that covers all the age groups. In Portugal, as well as in other countries, the importance of the Chinese language increases day by day, and consequently also increases the importance of the main international institution responsible for teaching and disseminating it, the Confucius Institute. The Confucius Institute is responsible for the most varied functions related to the Chinese language teaching, such as free courses, various projects with different schools, conducting language proficiency exams, teaching and spreading Chinese culture, creating unique opportunities with the offer of scholarships in China, among others. Currently in Portugal there are Confucius Institutes installed in eight different higher education institutions, and this report will fall on the Confucius Institute of the University of Minho. The main objective of this report is to known better the Confucius Institute of the University of Minho, its projects and cultural activities, its professionals, the teaching methods and materials chosen for the teaching of the Chinese language and what is the reason for these choices, basically, demonstrate the importance of this institution in the teaching of this language.

与其它国家的情况一样,葡萄牙汉语的地位日益提高,因此,作为汉语传播与教学的主要国际机 构孔子学院的重要性也越来越明显。 孔子学院负责执行与汉语教学相关的各项功能,例如提供免费公开课程, 与不同学校开展各 类合作项目, 举行语言能力考试, 教授和传播中国文化, 提供奖学金等特别的机会及其它各类活 动。 目前在葡萄牙五所高校设有孔子学院,本实习报告内容对象为米尼奥大学孔子学院。 本报告的主要目的是为了更好地了解米尼奥大学孔子学院,了解其项目和文化活动,师资, 汉语教 学法和所选用的教材及其原因,并试图说明孔子学院在汉语教学中的重要性。
