As oportunidades de participação das crianças de três anos numa sala heterogénea

Abstract

Este documento constitui o relatório que surge no desenvolvimento da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada (PES), pertencente ao plano de estudos do Mestrado em Educação Pré-escolar e Ensino do 1º ciclo do Ensino Básico, que se debruça sobre uma metodologia baseada na observação, reflexão, intervenção e nova análise dos dados obtidos. Este estudo é intitulado ―As oportunidades de participação das crianças de três anos numa sala heterogénea‖. No Jardim-de-infância é cada vez mais notória a existência de salas heterogéneas, integrando crianças de diferentes faixas etárias, contudo importa refletir se as práticas desenvolvidas pelo educador são satisfatórias para a promoção da emergência da participação efetiva de todas as crianças, inclusive das mais novas. Para o efeito, importa considerar a criança como uma cidadã, um ator social, com direito a participar, a fazer escolhas, a dar as suas opiniões e a agir em conformidade, caminhando para a construção de uma atitude mais crítica e propiciadora da sua inserção social. O presente relatório será composta pela descrição de todo o contexto educativo, inclusive do grupo em que o estudo foi desenvolvido. Integrará, também, uma capítulo teórico aprofundado sobre o tema, bem como a descrição e reflexão de todas as práticas concebidas no contexto educativo, apresentando o desenho de um conjunto de estratégias e de dificuldades na e para a promoção da participação das crianças de três anos numa sala heterogéna.

This master thesis emerges in the development of the Supervised Teaching Practice (SEP), which belongs to the Master Program in Pre-primary and Primary Education, and focuses on a methodology based on observation, reflection , intervention and new analysis of the obtaineddata. This project is named as "The participation opportunities for three years old children in a heterogeneous room". In kindergarten, the existence of heterogeneous rooms integrating children of different age groups is increasingly evident; however it is important to reflect if the practices developed by the educator are satisfactory in order to promote the effective participation of all children, including the youngest. With this purpose, it is of most importance to consider the child as a citizen, a social actor with the right to participate, make choices, give his opinions and act accordingly, moving towards the construction of a more critical attitude that favors socialinsertion. Therefore, this master thesis will be composed by the description of the entire educational context, including the group of children in which the study was developed. Besides, it will also include a detailed theoretical chapter on the subject, as well as the description and reflection of all the practices created in the educational context, presenting the design of a set of strategies and difficulties in and for the promotion of the participation of three years old children in a heterogeneous room.
