especificamente verificando a sensibilidade, fidelidade e validade.
The grazing is characterized by eating small amounts of food repeatedly and unplanned, and can be evaluated through the Rep(eat)-Q. Few studies have been conducted to study this food pattern, especially in the adolescent population. In this way, this study aims to validate this selfreport questionnaire for obese adolescents in treatment. The sample consisted of 166 participants, aged between 13 and 18 years, with a BMI percentile ≥ 85. The psychometric characteristics of the instrument were analyzed using exploratory factor analysis, more specifically by verifying sensitivity, fidelity and validity. Through the analysis of main components, two factors were identified: compulsive and non-compulsive, which are in accordance with the original questionnaire. Correlation tests were also performed between Rep(eat)-Q, Food Attitude Test for Children and Adolescents, Impulsive Behavior Test (negative urgency), Anxiety, Depression and Stress Scale-21, and the Intuitive Feeding Scale, evidencing Good convergent validity levels. Regarding the analysis of Rep(eat)-Q and its factors with age, sex, BMI percentile and BMI z-score, no significant values were found. |
