A importância dos materiais didáticos no ensino das ciências musicais

Abstract

O presente Relatório de Estágio insere-se no 2º ano do Mestrado em Ensino de Música na Universidade do Minho e incide sobre a Prática de Ensino Supervisionada do estagiário na Academia de Música Valentim Moreira de Sá, nos Grupos de Recrutamento M30-História da Música e M28-Formação Musical, ao longo do ano letivo de 2014/2015. A intervenção teve como objetivo a elaboração e aplicação de materiais didáticos resultantes de um estudo prévio sobre o seu papel na otimização do processo de ensino aprendizagem nas disciplinas supra mencionadas. O enquadramento teórico realizado, através da leitura da bibliografia disponível e a quase inexistência de materiais didáticos no campo do ensino das Ciências Musicais e, em particular da História da Cultura das Artes - História da Música resultou na convicção da importância da utilização destes materiais com a elaboração e aplicação em contexto de sala de aula de fichas de trabalho baseadas na correspondência de alguns compositores, nomeadamente cartas de W. A. Mozart e guias de audição de obras de referência pertencentes ao cânone do repertório do período do classicismo musical. Os resultados da intervenção foram objeto de reflexão através de um questionário pós-intervenção junto dos alunos envolvidos. Da implementação dos materiais didáticos, delineados e estruturados nas planificações e intervenções realizadas verificou-se significativo empenho e gosto dos alunos no âmbito da participação na sala de aula e no estudo individual que conduziram a aprendizagens significativas nas disciplinas em causa.

The present Report of Internship is inserted in the 2nd year of the Master's degree in Music at the Universidade do Minho and focuses on the practise of teaching under supervision of the interns in the Academia de Música Valentim Moreira de Sá, in the recruitment groups M30 - History of Music and M28 - Musical Formation along the school year of 2014/2015. The intervention had as its purpose, the formulation and application of didactic material, which resulted from a previous study about its role in the optimisation of the teaching and learning process in the above subjects mentioned. The theoretical framework accomplished, through the reading of the biography available and the almost non-existent didactic materials in the teaching of musical sciences field, and in particular in the History of Arts' Culture - History of Music field, resulted from the conviction of the importance of using these materials with de formulation and application in schoolroom contexts with worksheets based on some composers' replied letters, namely letters from W. A Mozart and listening guides of pieces of distinction, which belong to the canon of the repertory of the musical classicism period. The results of the intervention were taken into consideration through one questionnaire after intervention with the involved students. From the enforcement of the didactic materials, outlined and organised in the plans and interventions realised, which were verified and resulted in a significant effort and enjoyment in the students in the context of schoolrooms' involvement and in the individual study which led to important learnings at the subjects at hand.
