Abstract

O presente relatório tem como finalidade documentar o trabalho desenvolvido no âmbito de um projeto de intervenção sobre o desenvolvimento da competência leitora, numa turma do 10º ano de escolaridade, nas disciplinas de Espanhole de Português. Ao longo do ano letivo, a ação pedagógica levada a cabo no âmbito deste estudo teve como principal objetivo contribuir para que os alunos se tornassem leitores especializados e independentes, numa perspetiva mais direcionada para a leitura e interpretação de textos informativos e para o uso de estratégias de leitura. Em termos de intervenção, procedeu-se num primeiro momento à observação das competências de leitura dos alunos e verificou-se que estes demonstravam dificuldades na interpretação de textos informativos. Esta conclusão é coerente com dados internacionais sobre as competências de leitura dos estudantes portugueses. Posteriormente, foi delineado um conjunto de estratégias de intervenção com vista a motivar os alunos para a leitura e ajudá-los a progredir no sentido de se tornarem leitores competentes. No final da intervenção, foram avaliados o impacto e a eficácia desta investigação-ação, que tiveram um efeito positivo. O presente relatório é constituído por três capítulos, sendo que o primeiro corresponde à fundamentação teórica e programática que sustenta e fundamenta a construção do projeto. No segundo capítulo apresenta-se a caraterização do contexto e o projeto de intervenção pedagógica, descrevendo as fases em que se desenvolveu: diagnóstico, intervenção e avaliação. No terceiro capítulo, lança-se um olhar crítico sobre todo o processo apresentando as conclusões do projeto, mas também refletindo sobre as limitações e dificuldades sentidas ao longo do percurso.

This report aims to document the work developed in the framework of an intervention project on the reading skills development, in tenth school year, in the school subjects Spanish and Portuguese. During the school year, the pedagogical action undertaken in the context of this study had as main objective to contribute to the students to become independent and specialized readers, at an approach more directed to the reading and interpretation of informative texts and for use of reading strategies. In terms of intervention, in a first moment, we have observed the students’ reading skills and we could verify that these students had presented difficulties in the interpretation of informative texts. This conclusion is consistent with international data on the reading skills of Portuguese Students. Subsequently, was outlined a set of intervention strategies in order to motivate the students for the reading and to help them in their progress in becoming competent readers. At the intervention’s end, we have evaluated the impact and the effectiveness of this research-action that have had a positive effect. The present report is composed of three chapters, in the first of which we settle the theoretical and programmatic basis, which supports and grounds the project construction. In the second chapter, we present the context characterization and the project of pedagogical intervention, describing its phases: diagnosis, intervention and assessment. In the third chapter, we cast a critical eye over the whole process by presenting the conclusions of the project but also reflecting on the limitations and difficulties encountered along the way.
