The only thing we can say its unmutable is the certainty of change. Change is everywhere at anytime, originathing multiples outcomes. In a way to get the best out of it, there are some facilitators to change, as for an example, Commitment to Change, necessary to fixate an individual to the actions that predict a successful implementation of the change. In others contexts, appart from the organizacional one, it has been proved in a quantitative way that Work-Engagement, a positive, lasting mental state that is work related and positevly associated with Commintment to Change. Through a case study and with the contribution of the semi-structured interview we tried to understand if these variables would work in similitude in a highly disruptive change in the corporation, the fusion between two companies. As a conclusion, it was understood that Work-Engagement wasn’t a main reason to Commitment to Change. |
