A brincar e a aprender: a importância das atividades lúdicas em educação pré-escolar e ensino do 1.º ciclo do ensino básico

Abstract

As atividades lúdicas permitem que a criança tire o maior prazer da aprendizagem e se vá apercebendo como a brincar e a divertir também se pode aprender. Por isso, o presente relatório pretende responder a questões como, “Qual a importância das atividades lúdicas nas aprendizagens?”, “De que forma é que as crianças encaram a aprendizagem a partir de atividades lúdicas?” e “Como é que as atividades lúdicas podem potencializar aprendizagens relacionadas com os animais e com os números racionais não negativos?”. Assim, o estudo realizado reflete-se na importância de integrar atividades lúdicas no processo de ensino e aprendizagem, e resulta da prática de ensino supervisionada realizada num contexto de Educação Pré-Escolar realizado num jardim de infância, e de 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico desenvolvido numa escola de 1.º Ciclo, ambos no distrito de Braga. De forma a tornar a aprendizagem mais rica e motivadora foram delineados e construídos jogos tendo em conta as especificidades de cada contexto e de cada criança. Para isso foram usadas as metodologias que cada contexto seguia, pois ambos valorizavam a criança como centro e protagonista da aprendizagem. Com o intuito de procurar responder às questões acima mencionadas, foram analisadas as intervenções, com base nos instrumentos de recolha de dados utilizados e usando métodos qualitativos. Concluindo, nas atividades implementadas, as crianças demonstraram grande empenho e envolvimento, permitindo verificar que esta experiência transformou-se numa oportunidade para perceber como as atividades lúdicas realmente fazem toda a diferença no ensino e que através delas se pode cativar e envolver significativamente as crianças de uma forma muito gratificante. A partir deste estudo posso sublinhar a importância de desenvolver este tipo de atividades pelo que deveriam ocupar um lugar mais frequente e valorizado nos espaços de aprendizagens, englobando jardins de infância e escolas.

The recreational activities allow that each child can get the better pleasure of the learning and noticing that playing and enjoying also can to be a way to learn. Therefore, this report intends to answer at following questions: “What is the importance of the recreational activities on the learning?”, “How do children view the learning as from the recreational activities?”, and “How the recreational activities can increase the learning related with animals and with non-negative rational numbers?”. Thus, the performed study reflects the importance to integrate the recreational activities on the learn learning process and results of a teaching experience monitored and performed in a Preschool Education context in a kindergarten, and the Basic Education developed on a 1st Cycle School, both schools on Braga district. In order to make learning more “rich” and motivating, some games were designed and built taking in account the specificities of each context and each child. For this, it was used methodologies adequate to each context, since both provide value to the child, as the center and protagonist of the learning. With the objective to find answers for the questions mentioned above, the interventions were analyze with base on the instruments used, and using quantitative methods. Concluding, regarding the activities implemented, the children show a great effort and commitment, allowing to verify that this experience became an opportunity to understand that the recreational activities really make the difference on the learning and through them, we can catch and to involve children in a very rewarding way. From this analysis, I can highlight the importance to develop these activities, and thus they (the activities) should to have a more frequent place and be more valorized on the learning places, namely kindergartens and basic schools.
