O papel dos fisioterapeutas na equipe multidisciplinar atuantes no complexo municipal André Vidal de Araújo em Manaus

Abstract

A literatura pertinente mostra que os desafios das crianças com deficiência motora não se encontra na capacidade de aprender, mas nas limitações que as impedem de explorar o meio que as rodeiam, que acabam afetando seu rendimento escolar e impedindo-a de desenvolver o máximo de seu potencial. O presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar e caracterizar o papel do fisioterapeuta na equipe multidisciplinar na inclusão dos alunos com deficiência motora do Complexo Municipal André Vidal de Araújo, Manaus – AM, uma instituição de atendimento as crianças com necessidades. O instrumento de estudo utilizado foi elaborado tendo como base a literatura nacional e internacional, obedecendo a escala de likerts, tratou-se de um estudo quantitativo de natureza empírica, recorrendo-se a uma abordagem descritiva e inferencial, tendo como sujeitos 100 profissionais que atuam junto aos alunos com deficiência motora do Complexo André Vidal de Araújo, sendo professores de educação regular, professores da educação especial, psicólogos, fisioterapeutas, pedagogos e diretores. Os resultados desse estudo permitem-nos concluir que: existem diferenças estatisticamente significativas entre o gênero, idade, formação acadêmica, função na escola e os itens: a) o fisioterapeuta deve fazer parte da equipe de avaliação da criança com paralisia cerebral, b) devem ser feitas adaptações necessárias nas escolas já que primordialmente trabalham em clínicas e c) o contato do fisioterapeuta com as crianças com alterações motoras antes de iniciar as aula, facilitaria a melhor adaptação aos materiais escolares. A participação do fisioterapeuta na equipe multidisciplinar na inclusão das crianças com deficiência motora é considerada como importante e fundamental no Complexo. Desse modo, as recomendações são para que novos estudos neste sentido sejam realizados tanto pelos fisioterapeutas quantos pelos profissionais da educação, pois só por meio da ampliação do conhecimento sobre os alunos com necessidades educativas especiais se pode alcançar a verdadeira inclusão escolar e fortalecer a ideia de formação de equipe multidisciplinar de apoio a esta população.

The literature shows that the challenges of children with physical disabilities is not in the ability to learn, but the limitations that prevent them from exploring the environment around them, they end up affecting their school performance and preventing it from developing their maximum potential. The present study aimed to analyze and characterize the role of the physical therapist in the multidisciplinary team in the inclusion of students with physical disabilities in the Municipal Complex André Vidal de Araújo, Manaus - AM, an institution for children with special needs. The study instrument used was designed based on the national and international literature, obeying scale likerts, treated a quantitative empirical study of nature, resorting to descriptive and inferential approach, taking as subjects 100 professionals working with students with physical disabilities Complex André Vidal de Araújo, and regular education teachers, special education teachers, psychologists, physiotherapists, teachers and principals. The results of this study allow us to conclude that there are statistically significant differences between gender, age, academic background, depending on the school and the items: a) the therapist should be part of the team evaluating the child with cerebral palsy, b) must adjustments needed to be made in schools as primarily work in clinics and c) contact the therapist with children with motor disorders before starting the lesson, facilitate better adaptation to school supplies. Participation in multidisciplinary team of physical therapists in the inclusion of children with motor disabilities is considered important and essential in the Complex. Thus, the recommendations are for further studies in this direction are carried out by physiotherapists how much by education, because only through the expansion of knowledge about students with special educational needs can achieve true educational inclusion and strengthen the idea formation of multidisciplinary team to support this population.
