respondidas as seguintes questões: 1.
A estratégia
1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e fomentar neles atitudes positivas face à escola. Durante as
Educação Pré-Escolar e o 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico. This report is presented as a descriptive and interpretative study with methodological researchaction outlines. This study sought to understand the weaknesses associated with the transition between pre-school education and the Primary school and if sensory education could facilitate the adaptation of children to this new stage. Additionally the following questions are intended to be answered: 1.Does Sensory education help students adapt to the Primary school, fostering a positive attitude towards school? 2. Is it possible to work syllabus, significantly, through sensory education? The participants of this study were 18 pupils aged between five and seven years old, who attend the first year classroom of a Primary school. From the observations’ analysis, lack of sensory stimulation was found in the Primary school, which is one of the main differences between this and pre-school education. In this sense, exploring sensory education, the sense of the human body, that appeared to be less stimulated in this classroom, was worked. Through this work it was possible to foster a positive attitude towards school and Primary school learning. The evaluation of this project showed that the weakness of this transition is essentially bound to the failure to comply with room rules, which are quite distinct from the rules of a pre-school education environment. In addition, the group showed lack of interest in the content and very little concentration in the tasks proposed. The strategy adopted in this study revealed that sensory education can facilitate the adaptation of students to the and foster them with positive attitudes towards school. During the activities, the students showed great involvement and enthusiasm, used the senses actively, presented their ideas and expressed their feelings. This involvement sparked in students greater interest in tasks and greater openness to the acquisition of learning, keeping focused and involved postures. Thus, sensory education seems to be a good ally in the adaptation of children between pre-school education and the primary school. |
