Análise do desempenho motor e sua relação com status social em crianças de uma escola

Abstract

No âmbito do Mestrado em Ensino de Educação Física nos Ensinos Básico e Secundário, da Universidade do Minho, realizamos o estágio curricular com o propósito de ser executada a prática do ensino, sendo visto como um processo de integração no mundo profissional, com o objetivo de superar as dificuldades e crescer enquanto profissionais. O relatório de estágio aborda todos os aspetos que foram desenvolvido ao longo do estágio curricular realizado no local de estágio. O presente documento concebe na sua estruturação 3 áreas distintas. A área 1 refere toda a organização e gestão do ensino e da aprendizagem englobando a sua conceção, planificação, realização e avaliação. Na área 2 refere todas as atividades realizadas na instituição que nos permitiram uma participação ativa na relação com a comunidade escolar. Por fim a área 3 diz respeito ao trabalho de investigação realizado no seio da comunidade escolar. O lugar de um indivíduo na estrutura social tem explicado inúmeros comportamentos e o objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar o desempenho motor de crianças e verificar se existe associação com o status social. Neste estudo participaram 84 crianças do 3° ao 6° ano a frequentar o colégio. Os instrumentos utilizados foram: 1) para a avaliação do desempenho motor foi aplicado o teste KTK; 2) para avaliar o status, o presente estudo utilizou um instrumento, a Escala Subjetiva de Status Social em Sala de Aula. Os dados da pesquisa foram tabulados e analisados no programa Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS). No que diz respeito aos resultados, aqueles com melhor desempenho foram identificados pelos pares como sendo os que eles escolhiam primeiro na EF, sendo que o contrário também é verdade pois, os que tiveram pior desempenho, seriam os últimos escolhidos. O que leva a concluir que o desempenho tem uma relação direta com o status percebido pelos pares, principalmente em relação ao status positivo.

Under the Master’s in Physical Education Teaching in the Elementary and Secondary school of the University of Minho, we perform the traineeship in order to be accomplish the practice of education. It is been seen as a process of integration in the professional world, with the aim of overcome difficulties and grow as professionals. The internship report approach all aspects that were developed over the traineeship. This document conceived in their structure three distinct areas. The first area state the whole organization and management of education and apprenticeship encompassing the conception, planification, realization and evaluation. The second area refers to all activities accomplished in high school that allowed us to have an active participation with the school community. Finally the third area regards the research work accomplished within the school community. The place of an individual in the social structure has explained numerous behaviors. Thus this study aimed to evaluate the children's motor performance and investigation if there is any association with the social status. In this study participated 84 children in the 3rd to 6th year of school. The instruments used were: 1) aplience of the KTK test to evaluate the motor performance; 2) appliance of a Subjective Social Status Scale in the classroom to assess the status. The survey data were process and analyzed through the program Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS). With regard to the results, children with better performance were the first ones to be chosen by the pairs to be part of his group in the activities of Physical Education and the ones with worse performance were the last ones to be chosen. What leads to the conclusion that the performance has a direct relationship with the status, especially regarding the positive status.
