Educação literária: o texto dramático no 1.º ciclo do ensino básico

Abstract

O presente trabalho de investigação é parte integrante da Unidade Curricular: Prática de Ensino Supervisionada II (PES II), prevista no plano de estudos do Mestrado em Educação Pré-escolar e Ensino no 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, e foi desenvolvido na turma do 3º ano da Escola Básica/Jardim de Infância de Alvelos, Barcelos. A observação e a análise documental realizadas conduziram a um conhecimento alargado das caraterísticas e necessidades do contexto de estágio. Esse conhecimento permitiu a deteção de algumas necessidades no âmbito da língua materna, nomeadamente, a nível da fluência na leitura, da ortografia e da compreensão e interpretação de textos, a par de um grande interesse pelo teatro e pelas técnicas dramáticas. Portugal é um dos países que mais horas dedica à aprendizagem da língua materna, porém encontra-se nos últimos lugares no que diz respeito à sua eficiência. Neste sentido, e uma vez que o texto dramático é o parente pobre das práticas literárias nas escolas do 1º Ciclo do nosso país, impunha-se a necessidade de um trabalho com este género textual. Assim, consciente da necessidade atual de incentivar as práticas em torno de uma educação literária de qualidade nas escolas do 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, no presente relatório de investigação procurou-se abordar um conjunto de estratégias motivadoras no que diz respeito ao ensino da língua materna, através da utilização do texto dramático, que encerra, na especificidade da representação, um benefício tanto para o desenvolvimento linguístico e da Educação Literária, como para o desenvolvimento pessoal e social da criança.

This research report is a significant part of the course: Supervised Teaching Practice II (SEP II), provided in the study plan of the Masters in Preschool Education and Teaching in the 1st cycle of Basic Education, and it was developed in the 3rd class of the Basic School / Kindergarten in Alvelos, Barcelos. The observation and document analysis performed led to a broad knowledge of the internship characteristics and context needs. That knowledge allowed the detection of some needs within the mother tongue, especially at the level of fluency in reading, spelling, comprehension and interpretation of texts, along with a great interest in the theater and in the dramatic techniques. Portugal is one of the countries that dedicate more hours to learning the mother tongue, but it is in the last places regards to efficiency. Therefore, since the dramatic text is the poor relative of literary practices in the schools of 1st cycle in our country, the need of working with this textual genre and its influence in teaching was imposed. Thus, aware of the current need to encourage these practices around a literary education of quality in schools of the 1st cycle of basic education, in this research report, I tried to address a set of motivational strategies regarding to mother tongue teaching throughout the use of dramatic text, which has the specificity of representation: a benefit for both language development and Literary Education, as for child’s personal and social development.
