dc.description.abstractHomogeneous and heterogeneous heterocyclic azine copper(II) complexes were synthesized, characterized and their catalytic behaviour was evaluated in the oxidation of limonene. The results of the synthesis of homogeneous counterpart suggest the 1:2 and 2:2 (Cu:L) stoichiometry depend on the reaction conditions. The encapsulation of copper(II) complex was achieved by flexible ligand method using different metal:ligand ratio (1:2 and 2:1). The characterization of free complex, heterogeneous catalyst as well as the parent zeolite was performed by chemical analysis, FTIR spectroscopy and electronic spectroscopy.por
