A reabilitação destes edifícios assume
The historic centers of cities have always played a key role within the urban system, being places with their own identity and memory. With the constant evolution of cities and construction methods the historical centers were forgotten, being target of degradation. Is this abandonment that increases the degradation of heritage, worsening the conditions of safety, hygiene and health. The rehabilitation of these buildings has significant importance for the planning of sustainable cities. The increased consumption of non-renewable energy resources has become a problem of great importance both in economic and environmental terms. In 2002 was created EPBD which requires that all new buildings and major refurbishments are, as of 2020, characterized by a nearly-zero energy building. The implementation of regulations has improved thermal conditions of Portuguese housing, but do not verify a significant improvement in terms of energy. As most of our buildings is prior to the implementation of thermal regulations, it is essential to think of rehabilitation as a key strategy to reduce energy needs in Portugal. In this dissertation its analyzed the energy and sustainable of thirteen case studies in three different levels of rehabilitation, namely, Basic Rehabilitation, Energetic Rehabilitation and Sustainable Rehabilitation. The study was performed according to the Regulamento das Características de Comportamento Térmico dos Edifícios (RCCTE) with the support of CYPE, and sustainability assessment using the methodology SBToolPT-H. |
