O ensino de Filosofia e a promoção da cidadania no contexto do ensino secundário em Portugal

Abstract

O presente relatório de estágio, intitulado “O Ensino de Filosofia e a Promoção da Cidadania no contexto do Ensino Secundário em Portugal”, é o resultado de uma intervenção pedagógica supervisionada realizada no âmbito da unidade curricular de estágio, integrada no segundo ano do Mestrado em Ensino de Filosofia no Ensino Secundário da Universidade do Minho e foi realizada no Externato Ribadouro, no Porto, na turma do 10ºA3 no ano letivo de 2012-2013. Este trabalho teve como principal objetivo analisar o nível de correlação existente entre o Ensino de Filosofia e a Promoção da Cidadania, bem como percecionar de que modo, este ensino contribui para a construção de uma identidade cidadã. Está dividido em quatro capítulos: no primeiro capítulo é exposto o contexto onde decorreu a intervenção, bem como a pertinência da problemática; no segundo, evidencia-se a relação entre o Ensino de Filosofia e a promoção da cidadania; no terceiro é relatada a experiência da prática pedagógica; por fim, no quarto capítulo, faz-se a avaliação do projeto de intervenção.

The present traineeship report entitled “The Teaching of Philosophy and the Promotion of Citizenship in the context of Senior High Schools in Portugal”, is the result of a pedagogic intervention carried on under the scope of the internship course module of the second year of the MA in Philosophy Teaching in High Schools taught by the Universidade do Minho and that took place in the school Externato Ribadouro, Porto, class 10º A3, in the academic year of 2012-13. The main goal of this report was the analysis of the existing correlation level between the Teaching of Philosophy and the promotion of citizenship as well as to get the perception how this teaching contributes for the building of a citizen identity. It is divided into four chapters: the first chapter explains the context of the intervention, as well as the relevance of the analysed issue; the second chapter highlights the relationship between the Teaching of Philosophy and the promotion of citizenship; the third chapter reports the experience of the teaching practice; lastly, in the fourth chapter, an evaluation is made of the intervention project.
