Resumo(s): | The rapid increasing of elderly persons living alone presents a need for continuous monitoring to detect hazardous situations. Besides, in some cases, the forgetfulness of these people leads to disorientations or accidents. For these rea-sons, this paper introduces a system that brings together visual monitoring capabil-ities to track people and to perform activity detection, such as falls, with schedul-ing abilities to intelligently schedule urgent and non-urgent events. |
